PIHM Secondary School in Serasa distributed donations to orphans of the school during a ceremony in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan and upcoming Hari Raya festivity.
The event began with the recital of the Surah al-Fatihah led by Ustaz Haji Norazali bin Haji Sapar followed by a welcoming speech by Cikgu Hajah Suanah binti Hj Md Jaya, chairperson of the ceremony cum Assistant Deputy Principal of Students Affairs and Dyg Lim Siew King, the school principal.
The donations were then distributed by the school principal Dyg Lim, Awang Haji Hassan bin Haji Jeruddin, Co-Chairman of SMPIHM Parents-Teachers Association cum village head of Kg Serasa, Awg Ali bin Timbul, Deputy Principal of Administration and Cikgu Hajah Suanah binti Hj Md Jaya.
The ceremony was organised jointly by the Students Affairs Department, Religious Department and school-teacher activities.
Also in attendance were teachers, parents, guardians and students.
