By H BatTwenty-seven education officers, teachers and students from PIHM Secondary School organised a study visit to the Crab Breeding Indoor Centre, Golden Crab Enterprise at Kg Lambak, Berakas. The study visit was headed by Headmistress, Dayang Lim Siew King.
The study visit was one of the annual activities organised by SMPIHM in 2010 with the aim of providing an opportunity for the school community to know about the breeding of crabs, particularly, the soft-shell crabs.
Upon arrival at Golden Crab Enterprise, the entourage was briefed on crab breeding by the Managing Director of Golden Enterprise, Pengiran Haji Haris bin Pengiran Haji Duraman.
Later the managing director was presented with a letter of appreciation
The entourage also was brought around to witness the crab breeding managed by the company and at the same time, learned on the types of crabs and the breeding methods at the indoor centre.
